A highly skilled, seasoned Master Mariner with extensive transit experience and ship-handling with experience aboard Z-drive tugs, conventional vessels with both fixed and controllable pitch propellers (CPP), water-jet and mobile offshore drilling units (MODU), and dynamically positioned vessels (DP). A broad knowledge base of commercial vessel operations (both union and non-union maritime labor), domestic and international maritime regulations, high-speed code, safety management systems, ship-handling, pilotage, vessel security, and military sealift operations. Participated in the design, building, commissioning, serving as Master and Captain of high-speed civilian and military 900-passenger multihull roll-on, roll-off vessels.
